Actually I pasted the whole xviddetect output just to indicate that this function seems to have found every PCI and AGP device plugged in. The line "12eb0001|i386|Aureal Semiconductor|Vortex 1" does align with the information extracted out of the SuSe DB, but as I said, http://linux.aureal.com/ which would help me seems to be dead.
