This is part of your local MySQL configuration, it's part of the hosts table in the mysql database itself. Looks like you're not getting a postinstallation or configuration job running correctly. I'd try a *purge* of MySQL, including wiping your databases (if you need to preserve data, try moving the directory elsewhere for the interim). Then reinstall. Good luck. -- Karsten M.
