Well folks, it's time to redo my linux box, and I've decided to move from suse to debian. I've got my 2.2 CDs, and I'm planning my install now. I have one main concern:
This box is used as a firewall/masquerade box for my bellatlantic DSL (pppoe) line and home network. suse has a great firewall script that makes locking down the box very simple. Can someone point me in the right direction to find a good basic script with documentation that works with debian? Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I would like to dig into the internals on ip-chains at this time. Someday... Thanks for your help and suggestions. And should I cross post this to the security list as well? - Steve __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Messenger - Talk while you surf!
