Hi everyone,
I have a video card with small amount of memory and I was wondering if it is possible to configure the xserver to change color depth when I change resolution by pressing <Ctrl><Alt><+/->. Right now, when I switch, the colordepth says the same. In particular, I am interested in getting to higher resolution by loosing some color, but I want to regain colors by simply doing <Ctrl><Alt><+/->, not by restarting the X. Any help is appreciated, Lazar
