vim-rt is basically all the vim support files. vim supports ctags, but it doesn't include its own tags file generator. thus you need either a seperate package (exuberant), or elvis (which includes its own) ctags and quickfix editing (called cc error correction or something in elvis, iirc) are the two best things that happened to software development ;o) cheers damien
