Well, that's easy: $ apt-get install task-gnome-desktop gdm Just select GNOME from the GDM login window (will be default anyway). Make sure you have a GNOME compliant window manager: sawfish (aka sawmill) or icewm-gnome or wmaker, others... (those work the best with GNOME in my experience). -- /bin/sh ~/.signature: Command not found
