All of the sites I've checked out appear to have a new release more than once a month (or at the other extreme a fairly out-of-date release). Not long ago I tried to download Knoppix and was a hundred or so MB's through when I started getting connect errors on my download manager. When I browsed the site, I found that the Knoppix image name had changed (a new release)!
