Yep, I know what you meant.  Anyway, in my home setup I have users with
different MUAs, and not all of them handle a deferred outbox of their own.

Thanks also to the other posters, I think I'll experiment with the
local_interfaces option of exim, although  tcpserver sounds even more
interesting! (I see now there's a package ucspi-tcp-src)
