No, no, and no. I just went to their site to check the specs and noticed that they have a new model, the Silencer 400 ATX. When I play music CD's the drive noise is irritating. I find that older slower drives are much quieter. I've been working on plans for a sound-proof case-cover which I think would be a big hit with anyone running their computer in a bedroom, a small office, or in a multimedia setting.
