Sorry to butt into the middle of this thread like this, but I shouldn't the default route be re-set by "ifup -a"? If I set the default route to a different ethX interface, it doesn't get re-set onto the original eth0 if I do "/etc/init.d/networking restart", which is rather annoying. What am I missing?
