You can find the 2.2.17pre patches at ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/alan/2.2.17pre/ which are made by Alan Cox. Also you can just grab the source deb by doing apt-get kernel-source-2.2.xx or using dselect. In potato the source for 2.2.17pre6 is there (I think). In woody there might bel ater patches to 2.2.17.
