I recently installed the Alsa-drivers in the unstable branch. I ran the
alsaconf program and it configured my SB 16 AWE 64 PNP correctly. But
now I can't get esd to work, I have tried both esd-alsa and the normal
esd. When I type esd at the prompt I hear the usual sound but when I to
use Xmms Esound output plugin I just get an error message. If I use the
OSS output it works fine, but then I can only play one sample at a time.
Is there a any way for alsa to mix the samples together? How do i
configure Esd to work with alsa?
