I had a very bad experience with cheapbytes(cheapshit) cdroms of debian 2.1 they were full of curropted packages. On the other hand i would suggest getting cds from www.linuxmall.com *I* havent had any bad experiences with them (yet). Another option is to download the rescue disk and base install disks from the ftp site to install the kernel/base off the floppy then try to install the rest from cd.
linuxmall.com has good prices, typically each cd is $2 or $3. not sure if they have debian 2.2 yet i wouldnt be suprised if it takes another couple weeks. nate Ray Percival wrote: > > I'm trying to install 2.2 off of a set of CDs from cheapbytes.
