Edit /etc/apt/sources.list to add non-free and contrib. Find a line that says something like this:
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main (actually, any big debian mirror will work) and change it so it goes like this: deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free Basically, you're adding non-free and contrib to your sources. Then just "apt-get update" "apt-get install shockwave". Now that I think about it, I think shockwave is in the contrib section because it doesn't have the binary in it. The only way that this will not work is if I pulled it from a different source, because I have a very eclectic list of sources that I got from a friend. "Dale L .
