Not sure if you've resolved this or not. Have you either reported this as a bug or checked the bugtracking system to see if it's been reported? Does the .dhelp file exist within the distribution, possibly in another location or with another name? You can unarchive a Debian package with: $ ar -x mypackage.deb ...usually in /tmp or another temporary storage location. Then you can comb through the pieces and find what you're looking for. You can also go through the archive without having to unarchive it with mc, Midnight Commander, which supports this capability. -- Karsten M.
