i haven't tried Win4Lin, but i just read a message on the list about it: the failed dependencies are for rpm packages (/bin/sh does not appear as installed in your debian box rpm database), and the install script seems to try rpm first, even if it is run in a debian box. what you have to do (this is from the previous post, haven't tried myself): remove the directories created by the installation ~/win and another one that i don't recall (beginning with a dot). then install the package via dpkg, ignoring the install script. anyway, search the previous posts, as there was a thread on this on the last few days. ho[e it helps, alberto
