hi ya joey... yes...just about every package is ported to debian... but i seldom use it ( am a slow learner i suppose )... hate *.rpm even more but sometimes its better than *.tar.gz files... ( my preference )...
i do my silly install/admin methods so that i can maintain several distributions concurrently at different sites using one set of admin scripts across any distro..or so goes the plan...
