Update: the problem isn't a starting ip-up script but a stopping "tail -f /var/log/messages" right after the connect. If a watch the log on /dev/tty10 the output continues but not in a xterminal with tail. Any ideas? Kai. -- + mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] + http://www.tu-ilmenau.de/~bond/
