Hi, When I start emacs in a debian machine, it is not obeying .Xdefaults file in the home directory. It takes the .Xdefaults file, if it is named as .Xdefaults-fully.qualified.machine.name
Whereas, in a Redhat linux machine, emacs obeys the plain .Xdefaults. Any solutions to use .Xdefaults only. ( I have lots of machines in the network and I cannot have .Xdefaults-machine name corresponding to all machines in all accounts) Any ideas ?
