debs, i finally upgraded my 2.0.36 kernel by compiling 2.2.16 on my potato box.
in the process, i lost lpr. ...error message: lpr: connect: connection refused jobs queued, but cannot startd daemon did my compiling miss the mark? (how may print again?--i re-ran /etc/sbin/magicfilterconfig, but no success.) thx. bentley taylor. //
