hmm, strange. with <alt><ctrl><Function key ???> you can switch to
a console, there you get more verbose output. try to check there what
could be wrong. (<shift><pageUp/down> to scroll)
Search for "mount". Is it a ATAPI-CDRom or something
special? Brings booting from CDRom the same error?
