I recently suffered a hd failure and to top it off my tape archive backup
is outdated and corrupted. I've been able to rebuild most things by had
but have run into quite a serious problem of not being able to use apt or
dpkg This is the following error message I always receive. What I would
like to know is first is it possible to recover from this without a
complete rebuild (production server Down time = no money) If so what would
the steps be ie where do I start, I haven't seen anything quite like this
mentioned in any doc's or news groups. I don't want to go to far with this
as I know (from experience) that I may damage it more with experimenting..
So If anyone has some Idea's let me know.
