For the most part, good hardware is good hardware reguardless of the OS. If you look at the Windows NT or OS/2 newsgroups you'll find that the hardware recomendations are surprisingly similar. Stuff that only works on Win9x is generally a PITA even there. If you are looking for something specific then your best off finding people/sites dealing with that particular topic. For example if you are looking for a scanner, have a look at the SANE mailing list and web site and find out what those people are using. -- Ray
