I assume JavaSoft = Sun Microsystems? If so, the JDK 1.2.2 has been out for at least a month or two. As far as I know it's not packaged for Debian but I did download it from Sun and install it in /usr/local and haven't had any problems with it on either of my Potato systems. Gary
