How does one grab an image of the root window (containing many
window) while the mouse is in the process of selecting in a menu?
- Using ImageMagick's display's grab function, I enter a time
delay and select a menu in Emacs. I get the error:
display: Unable to grab the mouse.
(I think I'd get only the Emacs window if it worked anyway)
- Using xv's grab function, I enter a delay and select a menu in
Emacs. I get an image of the Emacs window without even the
menu I'll pulling down.
Can gimp do this? (It's not installed yet, but that's easy to
remedy)
