Hi there, folks... Having some difficulties with pre-compiled GNOME packages on potato, I rather decided to build GNOME 1.0.55 myself. So by now, most of the stuff actually works fine, only problem left is that the GDM display manager doesn't allow login as 'root'. Starting with the docs, I read that there's an option like "AllowRootLogin" in GDM config file but it seems that this doesn't have any effect on my GDM... Can anyone out there help me? :)
