hi ("it's me again, margaret--i'll bring the weedwhacker, the
rubber chicken and the peach preserves!").

if a debianist were to do a whole
        # apt-get update
(with /etc/apt/sources.list indicating frozen) and then an entire
        # apt-get upgrade
(iterating thru hell and back ironing out all the errors until
all is well) would said debianist then officially possess
potato (i.e. debian 2.2)?

would my kernel be different? do i need to reboot?

and is backing up to a dittomax plausible?
