apple machines should use the mac-fdisk package, you can try to modify the partitioning without clearing it completly but i don't reccommend it, mac-fdisk is very buggy. you do need to use it and not apple's tools though, like any other OS you need to use the native partitioner for the partitions, mac-fdisk makes macos partitions badly, and apples fdisk makes linux partitions badly. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
