They say RedHat is very userfriendly (haven't tried it). This is not the place for letting out bull**** like the jimbo above. BTW, maybe a cd with debian is the thing for you? they're not that expensive. (BTW: I used an american mirror for my installation, and it went absolutely smooth. I get fine transfer rates, even though I'm in Denmark.) Yes, dselect can be a newbie-pain, but if you go easy, and think, and ask constructive q's on the list, even newbies can get it working.
