i "achived" locking out normal users by chmod-ing /tmp or /var/tmp (it's the same on my system) to 700 or ... very effective :-) the correct permissions for tmp-dirs are 1777 -- Hi! I'm a .signature virus! Copy me into your ~/.signature, please! -- Linux - the last service pack you'll ever need.
