The Linux and DOS partitioning programs don't work for the "other side." At least it didn't work for me. If you want to install DOS use fdisk from DOS. If you want to install Debian use cfdisk or fdisk from the Debian installation CD. In other words it sounds like you have already partitioned the drive under DOS but select "yes" to partition with cfdisk and you should be on your way. hth, kent
