You should first be able to print with the default printcap. (Mine was called 'generic dot matrix printer') Even if it doesn't look great. lpr <textfile> If that produces output you're on the right track. lpq will show you what's waiting to print. Then you can go on to magicfilter. It took me a couple of days to work things out, but ultimately magicfilterconfig produced a suitable printcap and seems to work fine. -- Joel Roth [EMAIL PROTECTED]
