If You have a static IP-Address, You have to specify it, when connecting to Your ISP. Othetwise you have to use ipcp-accept-local and ipcp-accept-remote in Your ppp-options file. > and how can I change the Modem speed while connected? I know BREAK [ \K ] > changes the speed .... but how do I know if it did and what is the new > speed? Why do You have to chnage the modem-speed while connected ? Do You have to change the modem speed or the serial speed ? The last one can be set also in the options file (for example 115200). Hope this will help You, otherwise send another mail with mire specific information.
