Both xpm4g and xpm4.7 contain libXpm.so.4. I know that I had to load xpm4.7 when I started using Wordperfect 8. You can find the packages which contain these libs by searching for them on the 'packages' page on the debian web site where it says 'search the contents of the latest release'. kometboy
