Besides, Mike is the maintainer - if a maintainer tells you to read the
README (or RTFM in general) it's good practice to follow that advice.

I'm especially impressed that not once did Mike say "Hey, I'm the
maintainer of the package so listen to me!"

Finally, kudos to Mike for writing sysvinit in the first place and for
making it as extensible as it is ...
