Use apt-get. You will have MUCH less headaches then trying to do this manually. Install apt-get from slink, edit /etc/apt/sources.list to look like this #### deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian potato main contrib non-free deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US potato/non-US main contrib non-free deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian potato main deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US potato/non-US main #### Then run these commands: # apt-get update # apt-get install libc6 This will most likely upgrade quite a few packages. After it is all over, you will be running Glibc 2.1.2. -- -----------=======-=-======-=========-----------=====------------=-=------ / Ben Collins -- ...on that fantastic voyage... -- Debian GNU/Linux \ ` [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ' `---=========------=======-------------=-=-----=-===-======-------=--=---'
