there can be some reasons for this: - some customers are simply only using the 2nd dns - he wants to register new domains with rather paranoid registries which are checking for 2 dns servers - he has a registry which checks consisteny of the delegated domains (eg RIPE with the in-addr.arpa´s http://www.ripe.net/ripencc/pub-services/stats/revdns/zcheck/ranking16.html) not all registries are so lame like internic and arin...
