Loadlin works by loading a copy of the Linux kernel into RAM and then transferring control to it. It needs a copy of the kernel to work with. Did you copy your kernel to the c: drive and name it "linux"? Otherwise it won't work. Your kernel might be named "vmlinuz" or "zImage" or "bzImage".
