I got no error message with LyX 1.1.4pre1, but \mathfrak{g} and
\mathbb{R}
is only standard g and R letter, \boldsymbol{\alpha} is correct bold
alpha.
in mathmode <alt>M-m all works well. Look at the attatchment.
Have you installed the LaTeX ams-package?
