Just a remark: the utility for windows 95/98 is called fsdext2 (http://www.yipton.demon.co.uk/). It is not actively being maintained, and the versions I tried long ago are still on the web page. It provides read only access, and is `moderately stable' on some PC's, and hopeless on others. Not something I'd recommend for even slightly serious work. HTH, Eric -- E.L.
