I'm running a straight Slink Debian system with the Y2K upgrades. I definitely have xlib6, libc5, & xpm4.7 installed. I can't seem to get my CD version of Word Perfect 8 to install. The graphical interface fails, the character-based install *claims* to install the program, yet never asks for a path to place the program in. The 'installed' binaries, found in the listed directories below off the root directory, give seg faults.
