BTW, it's using the > default window manager. Hope this makes sense... This is due to xdm. If you don't like at all, deinstall the package with 'dpkg --remove xdm'. If you only don't want it started automaticaly at boottime remove the link (!) in /etc/rc2.d ('rm /etc/rc2.d/S99xdm') and start it than later with '/etc/init.d/xdm start' and stop it with '/etc/init.d/xdm stop'...
