I have been having a few problems with slrnpull and my ISP, ao have installed leafnode. I have used leafnode before so am aware of how to use it. Everything works fine except that I cannot see new messages in slrn until texpire has been run.
An example. My machine logs on to the Internet overnight and downloads news. Cron also runs texpire shortly afterwards. Later the following day I might log on manually and top up the news. If I fire up slrn I see only the first lot of messages, and if I then run texpire I see the remaining messages picked up on the second run of leafnode. Obviously something is not quite right here. I am running Potato, latest upgrade performed last week. I am running leafnode 1.9.4-11 and slrn 0.9.5.7-14. Any ideas? Cheers. -- Phillip Deackes Debian Linux (Potato)
