If you type 'diald' at a prompt, does it segfault? If so, try making lines in /etc/services that look like: #*******[lots of stars]** into: # ****[lots of stars]* (i.e. insert a space before the stars). I submitted a bugfix for this (it's a buffer overrun), but it hasn't made it through channels yet. HTH, -Doug
