Well, the book only covers the basic stuff which really hasn't changed much. I have the Llama 1st edition and have noticed very few changes in actually using Perl5 (mostly chop versus chomp). > #!/usr/local/bin/perl -w #!/usr/bin/perl -w would be better on Debian.
