I did that (append="ether=5,0x300,eth0 ether=10,0x320,eth1"), it wouldn't boot. I recall that boot options will not work for modules. Is this correct? If it is, the only way is to recompile the kernel (which means downloading kernel sources & gcc that may bog down a 28.8 modem line). Oki
