Hi, I was given a job to administer sendmail v8.7 on Debian/Linux and I am new to Linux. I must be able to telnet since the server is at a distant
location. When I telnet to the Linux machine in order to add email accounts, I get connected and it tells me that I have new mail and it disconnect. Could you please help me figure out how to reconfigure Debian / Sendmail in order for me to telnet and access sendmail as a root? I know that first I have to login as a user and then use su to change to the root. I appreciate your help very much. thanks. Sam Babak
