Further to PPP to ISP saga - once the PPP connection is up netstat -nr gives (this is copied by hand so excuse formatting) ...

To reiterate the problem I only get ping responses from the IP address at the far end of the connection (in this case 195.92.66.87) . My box is happy to send ping packets to anything else but claims 100% packet loss for returned packets ( despite fact that my modem led seems to indicate incoming packets).
