I've been chasing this problem for over 2 weeks. Almost every mail I try to send from my main computer (Toshiba laptop) is rejected by the host I send to. Could some kind soul PLEASE suggest where I should look for the error?
Here is a typical rejection message. I tried to send a test email to myself at the address in quesion. Needless to say I do have an account at this site and I can send to it without problems, using the same Debian setup, from the alternative computer I'm sending this from: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >From MAILER-DAEMON Wed Oct 27 20:53:52 1999 Received: from mail by pentelikon.freeserve.co.uk with local (Exim 2.05 #1 (Debian)) id 11gZ8q-0000Bt-00; Wed, 27 Oct 1999 20:53:52 +0100 X-Failed-Recipients: [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: Mail Delivery System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 27 Oct 1999 20:53:52 +0100 Status: RO Content-Length: 1269 Lines: 34 This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
