Hi everybody (after more than half a year..)

I want some diskless workstations to boot from my Linux box.
I followed the steps described in miniHOWTO (although I can't understand
the idea of having two catalogues: /export/root and /export/linux as
described there) and reached the point when I have to install some parts
of the system dedicated for diskless clients (and of course the kernel).

No idea how to:
1. Figure out what packages do I need to install
2. Install them
3. Keep track of what packages are installed (e.g. to automatically
upgrade with apt-get)

Later I want to have two kinds of stations: slow ones acting as
X-treminals and faster ones working on their own (and executing some
tasks as a distributed-parallel system :-), but for now I'm looking for
the simplest way to make it running.

Thanks in advance.
Blazej
